Hillary’s Changing Pitch to the Superdelegates
One of the more interesting stories of this Democratic Primary Season is to watch and listen carefully as the Clinton campaign changes its pitch to the Superdelegates. Here is a perhaps still incomplete list.
Superdelegates should vote for:
1. The Candidate Who Has Won the Most States.
2. The Candidate Who Has Won the Most Delegates.
3. The Candidate Who Has Won the Overall Popular Vote.
4. The Candidate Who Has Won the Most Important States (as determined by the Clinton Campaign).
5. The Candidate Who Has Won the Popular Vote in the New York, California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Ohio and Texas Primaries.
6. The Candidate Who “Won” the Michigan and Florida Primaries (with an especially convincing victory in Michigan against the candidate named “None of the Above”).
7. The Candidate Who Has Won the Most Superdelegates (Since Pledged Delegates Don’t Really Count).
8. The Candidate Who Has Won the Most Primaries (Since Caucuses Shouldn’t Count).
9. The Candidate Who Has Won the States with the Most Electoral College Votes.
and finally, perhaps the only pitch that really matters in the end…
10. The Candidate Whose Name is Hillary Clinton.
